About
Building something different
Cotempo is specifically designed for small to medium businesses — for founders who are building something meaningful and need an operational infrastructure that matches their ambitions. We assess the situation before we begin implementation. We transfer ownership to them once our work is complete. And we design every system with the people who will actually use it in mind.
The difference between a business that sustains its people and one that depletes them is infrastructure. Cotempo builds that infrastructure — designed from the ground up for how human beings actually work, so that you can build something that grows without costing you everything.
Inclusion shapes the work itself, not just who's doing it. Kelly's own experience — as a neurodivergent practitioner, and as the founder of a business that's LGBTQIA2S+- and women-owned — is the reason Cotempo designs infrastructure for the full range of people actually doing the work: different processing styles, different energy patterns, different ways of taking in information. Systems built this way tend to work better for everyone, not only the people they were specifically designed with in mind. The work takes three forms
Every engagement starts with the same question: what's actually causing the friction. From there, the work draws on three areas — organizational design, when the problem lives in how the work itself is structured; leadership and team development, when the friction lives between people; and learning and capability building, when the gap is a skills or knowledge gap. Most engagements pull from more than one.
